Purchased his first bicycle by picking beans at age 9 and his first car at age 15.
Growing up, David always had a job or two after school, weekends and most of
the summer. Lumber mills, newspapers, construction. When the draft board
called he was 21 years old, the father of one and the job assistant manager at
a department store; his fourth store. That was David's last employment before
the Army, where he was taught to complete a mission his mission was to inspect all
subsistence (food) moving
through the Atlanta Army Depot; and later to train and advise his Commander
and his troops in nuclear, chemical and biological defense. In the Oregon Army
National Guard his mission was Military recruitment. David has been a self starter
all his life, self employed, a real entrepreneur. The business of Real Estate
was David's first passion, starting in Georgia; David has been involved in a
real estate transaction in 48 of the 50 states and dealt in all types of real

DO YOU SUPPORT OIL AND GAS
EXPLORATION IN ANWR?: Yes and I can persuade some democrats to vote with me.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF
EARMARKS?: They serve a need, but they have been abused, fault the player not
the game.
WHAT SHOULD THE FEDERAL
GOVERNMENT DO TO GET ALL AMERICANS INSURED?: This debate needs new vigor. I
am advocating Universal Good Health and want to hear more on prevention and
ways of getting more doctors and more non-patented ways of curing disease. A
big pool of tax payers money that only a select few can draw on is what I fear
is going on here.
WHAT IS YOUR POSITION ON THE
WAR IN IRAQ?: Well done troops, hope you come home soon. I will leave for
details to the people in Iraq. The U.S. Administration through Paul Brimmer
was a disaster and our military turned it around. We should be so very proud
of the valiant men and women in uniform that won the war in days and protected
it's people as they rebuilt their country from the bottom up starting with a
vote.
WHAT SHOULD BE DONE TO IMPROVE
THE NATION'S ECONOMY?: Turn the energy shortage to an energy surplus. Stop the
war on drugs by taking the profit out of it. Keep the money in the United
States. Let the non-criminals out of prison and enact sensible banking reform.
WHAT SHOULD BE DONE TO EASE
THE BURDEN OF HIGH ENERGY PRICES ON AMERICANS?: We need to stop blocking good
sources of energy and get to producing a surplus, so we can get the balance of
payments back in the United States favor.
HOW WILL YOU BALANCE THE NEEDS
OF THE NATION WITH THE NEEDS OF YOUR CONSTITUENTS?: The needs of Alaskans will
always be first, but I see little or no conflict.
WHOM DO YOU SUPPORT IN THE
RACE FOR PRESIDENT?: Bob Barr and Wayne Allen Root.
DO YOU SUPPORT IMMIGRATION
REFORM, AND HOW WOULD YOU ACCOMPLISH IT?: Yes. The United States can not send
millions of Mexicans back home. It is a logistic problem that the economy
could not handle. The real estate market would be devastated. People can not
buy a new house if some one does not buy or rent their old house. We need
their labor, etc. The guest worker program that Kennedy and McCain sponsored
was the best start I have seen so far. The fences are not the solution they
are just more US debt. Our border patrol are being pelted with bricks now, it
will IEDs in the future, if we keep the fence them out mentality that prevails
in Congress..
IF ELECTED, WHAT ISSUE WOULD BE YOUR TOP PRIORITY?: The next one up for vote and the ones that effect Alaska the most.. With that said the economy and our drop-out youth are places I plan to make a difference.
WHAT DO YOU FEEL IS THE
LARGEST ISSUE FACING THE NATION AND WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO TACKLE IT?:
It is the money, follow the money; the government has too much debt and and
the tax payers are paying too much interest to foreign entities. The solution is actually simple
and it has been done before. Pay the federal Reserve off with none-interest
bearing Government notes. Thomas Jefferson said "If
the American people ever allowed the banks to control the issuance of their
currency, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will
deprive the people of all property until their children will wake up homeless
on the continent their fathers occupied."
He was right then and it was right when Abraham Lincoln printed government
notes so why would it not be right now?. Think hard and long on it and then
ask why not?
